Next 2010 Trade show - biotechnology

This year the conference also focuses strongly on creating new international contacts between businesses and other organizations from Finland and Asia, especially from South Korea. We shall be hosting a Korea Trade Show with the conference, which is designed to be a contacting event for businesses with similar interests. Local and visiting companies or organizations can reserve stands and tabletops for themselves to set up a promotional contacting point for the duration of the conference. We will also organize targeted meetings between company representatives for the participants upon their requests. We hope to see the strong technological competence and knowledge of both our countries come together to create new ideas and ultimately better business.

On this site we have gathered a broad selection of local companies from the biotechnology field. The companies have been divided into categories by their business area, making it easier for you to find potential partners in your field. You can request for a face to face meeting with a representative of a company that you find interesting. We will then arrange for a private meeting between you and the company of potential future cooperation. Note that it is not absolutely certain that these companies will otherwise attend the Trade Show, so if you see a company of interest, you should let us arrange matters to assure participation and thus a meeting.

How it works

You can attend the NEXT 2010 Trade Show as a visitor or as a representative to some organization with a tabletop. All attendees of the NEXT 2010 conference have automatically access to the Trade Show as visitors, tabletops must be requested separately, beforehand. Feel free to go through the list of Business Area specific companies with their descriptions on the right. If you find a company that you would be interested in meeting with an arranged time and place, please inform us by filling out this form. We will then arrange the meeting and inform you of the specifics and schedules by email. This is done to manage the timetables and schedules of company representatives in a manner that allows several meetings in an efficient form.

If you wish for your company to be listed in the same manner as the local companies, so that others may contact you for a meeting, you can do so by filling out this form. Your company will then be listed with the information you have given us, and we will contact your contact person if requests for meetings arise. Note that this service is of no extra cost, in addition to the attendance fee.

How to attend

All participants of the NEXT 2010 Conference have unlimited access to the Trade Show and the meeting arrangement services we provide for it as well. This is included in the registration fee. The stands and tabletops for companies and organizations to present themselves are not included in the standard conference fee. Attendance with a tabletop costs 350€ and includes NEXT 2010 Conference and Trade Show passes for one person. This is only 20-50€ more compared to the standard conference fee.

If you are willing to attend only the NEXT 2010 Trade Show portion without the access to the NEXT 2010 Conference, it is possible at a price of 190€. This includes a tabletop as well.

Participants who have paid the conference fee, need not do anything extra to attend the Trade Show. If you wish to have a tabletop for your organization, you must inform us beforehand by email to henlag@utu.fi . Registration for participants with tabletops is handled separately, not through the online registration system. If you attend and register to the NEXT 2010 Conference and later decide to have a tabletop at the Trade Show, this is possible by paying 50€ on top of the registration fee, on location. We do encourage informing us of this beforehand though.

If you have posters you wish to portray beside your tabletop, you may do so at no extra cost. If you do not wish to travel with your poster, you can send the poster as a file attached with the size etc. specifications to us and we can print it for you for a small fee. Poster files must be sent well in time (3 weeks) before the Trade Show in order to ensure sufficient resources for this. Contact us to henlag@utu.fi if you wish to use our printing services.
